Geneva Corporation, headquartered in Greensboro, North Carolina, was founded by F. James Becher, Jr. in 1979, to acquire select value-added distribution companies. Since its inception, Geneva has acquired over 30 businesses, all 100% owned. These distribution companies represent manufacturers, including Allison transmissions, MTU, Detroit Diesel engines, GE Jenbacher, Kohler generators, Ditch Witch, John Deere and Pella.
